Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was very special.  Not only was it our first Thanksgiving in Oklahoma, but my parents were super awesome and flew out from California so we could spend the holiday together.  So nice not to have to spend our first holiday in our new home miles away from our families.  It really was special and fun.  :)  It was also my parents first time in Oklahoma with us and so we had a lot of fun showing them around.  Of course the kids mostly cared about showing off their new rooms.  :D  But it was a very special week and we were blessed to make a lot of fun memories.
AJ and Jake got these pumpkin men that dance when they are in the sun from their GG (Great Grandma)...they really had a lot of fun with them, and still do :)
When Thanksgiving dinner rolled around Jake was super ready!!!
And soon AJ joined him at the table.
Dinner!!!!  Since Jake is really growing out of his picky eating he really enjoyed more parts of Thanksgiving dinner for the first time.
AJ was still a bit picky but definitely found some new favorites.  :)
Thanksgiving Dinner 2013...and I promise I (Sandy) was there too...just behind the camera :)
After dinner we followed out own little tradition and watched Polar Express :)  Hard to believe that Jake was this goofy and had not had pie yet :)
And of course every good holiday had to include puzzle time.

And up next...some early Christmas time spent with my mom and dad.  :)
