Enjoying the End of Winter

Life in our family always seems to be busy!!!  But we do have a lot of fun and its really fun to see the kids take it all in.  So lets just enjoy some of these pictures from Feb and the beginning of March.  :D
AJ would not let me pack away his big Santa that was in his room after the holidays and one morning in Feb he was really enjoying his Santa buddy and would not part with him.  I think the kids are going to want the Christmas decorations to come out earlier and earlier every year :)
Jake and his best buddy being goofy at one of the school events for their older siblings.  :)
This was a day that we had between storms.  It was really nice and so we all enjoyed being outside and going to one of the neighborhood parks.
Yes I am raising two monkeys :D
Its a race!!!
We are not using it yet but AJ was super excited to get a Dinosaur booster seat!!!  He has just about outgrown his car seat.
AJ loves to go to Sprouts with me because he always hopes to get the little kids cart.  When he does he helps me shop and everything has to go in his basket.  Such a cute little shopper!!!
It had been a while since we had snow and so even though it was just ice the kids had to go play in it.  Jake did not have a lot of luck making his ice angel.
They still had a great time though.  Although to be honest I am not sure what the kids like more.  Going outside to play in the ice/snow or coming in after for some hot cocoa.  :D
After they thawed some painting was in order.  After all it was a snow day for school so we had to have a lot of fun at home.  :D
Not long after we had a pretty decent snow storm and the boys were overjoyed.  Even enough for a true snow angel.  :D
 Happy Brothers
They really do have a special relationship and really love being together...most of the time.  :)
After a little bit we had a fun little walk through the snow to a friends house to play
Snow and friends...its really all you need :)
Jake was so happy to play in it all
That weekend we had a surprise for the boys.  Months before we had bought tickets for all of us could go to Marvel Live.  A live action show of all their favorite Marvel heroes.  They were so excited that they had to dress up.  Spiderman and Iron Man of course.
Jake got a little Wolverine as a souvenir
and AJ got a glow sword of course.
Mommy and her little hero
The show began and they were really excited
Everyone was there!  It was an amazing show, lots of great wirework, motorcycle stunts and a fun story that the boys enjoyed.
I think Spiderman might be in trouble here :)  (gotta entertain yourself during intermission)
Spidey!!!
Hulk and Cap getting down to business
 Spiderman and Thor up close
Yey!!!  The heroes saved the day
Mommy and her big hero :)
Then after the show we were happy to see it had stopped snowing.  But we had a beautiful drive home.  It was fun to see snow around OKC too.
 Hitting the road
The Oklahoma Capital building
Blankets of fresh snow around the neighborhoods
After a yummy pizza lunch at Cici's we came home to relax and watch the new Captain America movie...of course :)
These pictures were taken a few days later.  It was February and we were pretty sure this was our last snow so I wanted to let the boys have their fun before it all melted.  AJ loved it and got snow all over himself.
Jake being silly and throwing a snowball at me just as I was taking his picture
AJ having a ball with his trunk in the snow
The boys were truly happy and had a great time!!!
This was taken after AJ and I made a consignment store trip.  We got him his very own Lego alarm clock.  He was beyond happy with his Woody clock as you can see.
 Oklahoma boys!!!
Ryan has been working very hard at work lately and there was a week recently where he had to make another work trip.  It had been a bit since he had to travel and so the boys were really bummed that he was gone.  So therefore we picked up McDonalds, had a picnic at home, and watched one of their favorite movies (Ninjago).  Made them very happy.  Although I think I have started something because now they LOVE to have picnics at home.  :D
