Neighborhood Fun and Father's Day Baseball Game

We have been having such a blast this summer!  It has been so much fun to have so many great things around us for us to do.  One such thing is the splash pad in our own neighborhood.  We can even walk to it!!!  The kids love it and its been a fun different thing to do this summer.  :)
AJ heading for the giant rings
Jake trying to squirt his brother and his friends
I wish I had gotten his whole face in this picture but he was moving too fast...but still pretty cute.  :)
Look Out!!!  Crazy Squirting AJ
 FUN
Good memories being made
Hanging out with some friends at the zoo
For Father's Day this year Ryan wanted to take the boys to their first baseball game.  So we took them to a Red Hawks game which is a local OKC team that is AAA for the Houston Astros.  Ironically their A little brother is the Jethawks in Lancaster CA.  :)  AJ is looking super cool waiting in front of the stadium!  He did not want to change out of his church shirt and he really wanted to wear his Ninja Turtles hat.  lol...very baseball
Jake on the other hand, was ready.  Red Socks Shirt, Dodgers hat and ready to watch the hitters. :)
The kids getting their first look at the field
 Pretty nice view
I had to put this picture in.  After we looked around the stadium we took the kids to the gift shop.  They were going to have to sit long enough in their seats as it was.  AJ found this finger  and absolutely fell in love with it.  He held it most of the night and even slept with it in his bed when we got home.  :)  Jake got a Redhawks hat and loved it, he wore it to many of his t-ball games.
Going down to check out the field
What a great Father's Day :)
The boys...on the way to get dinner
The boys hanging out in our seats
Jake studying up on his team
 Happy Boy
Food!!!  We had a spread out progressive dinner that night, helped keep AJ in his seat :)  And yes, Jake ate his whole cheeseburger and AJ ate his whole hot dog. :)
Jake Loved the mascot that he is watching in this picture.  AJ however did not....at all.  After we got food we decided to take an elevator up to our level since we were herding boys and carrying food and drinks.  When the door opened there was Cooper (the mascot) standing with some stadium workers.  The look on AJ's face made everyone in the elevator laugh.  Poor little guy was not pleased.  AJ would not get in the elevator until the poor mascot dropped his head, moved to the back of the elevator, face to the wall.  We tried to tell him it was not personal...he avoided Santa during the holidays.  Not sure if it made him feel better.
 Foam Finger loving boy
Ahhhh, daddy and Jake cuddles while they watch the game
Checking out a team set of baseball cards
"Moooom, let me go"  :)
 Really cool stadium
Since it was their first baseball game we had to treat them to sundaes in helmets.
 They both loved them
After the ice cream we found some empty seats closer to the field so...
..Jake could be closer to run the field after the game.  He is the boy in the red hat and red and blue shirt
Going from 2nd to 3rd
Reaching home to give Cooper a high 5
He LOVED it!!!
If you are wondering where AJ was see mascots above.  He was in line all excited and then he saw who was greeting the kids at home plate...and then he would have nothing to do with running the bases.  :)

Family picture at the park.  We had a great time and made great memories of the boy's first baseball game.  Now we are looking forward to talking the boys to a Texas Ranger's game in a couple weeks.  :)  They will be playing the Angels...not sure who the boys will be for.  :)
