A trip to the OKC Dodgers Open House

So catching up again.  :)  When baseball season got started it we did a pretty good job of celebrating it.  First the boys first practices and games and then a trip to the new OKC Dodgers Open House.  We had a minor league team before (AAA) but during the off-season Ryan was thrilled to hear that his own Dodger's had bought out the team and where now going to represent his team.  I on the other hand am wondering what I can do to start avoiding that team  :)  But we had a blast going to the ballpark that day and giving all 3 of my boys a good dose of baseball.  :D

Walking to the ballpark...not sure which one of them was more excited
We even got to take a small tour of the ballpark and go places that we could never go before..
...including the locker room :)
The boys thought it was awesome to see everything
Jake wanted to be like his Aunt B and try on all the catcher's gear :)
Fierce little catcher
They even got to take batting practice in the team's batting cages, first Jake
And then AJ
Jake was even brave enough to face a real pitcher :)
And of course so was Daddy.  A pretty special thing that they can all say that they have done.
Then the boys got to make their own OKC Dodgers t-shirts
They had a lot of fun and have both gotten some fun wear out of them already
Then we watched some college players play for a bit. The boys could hardly wait for the season to start and watch a big game here.  :)  A great and fun day!!!
