Easter Fun!!!

We were super lucky this year to have my parents come and visit us over Easter time.  We had not spent the holiday with family for a while and so it was very exciting to have them here with us.  We had a lot of fun with festive events and also getting to bring them to Jake's school for his class' presentation at their school's Friday Round-Up.
Jake's class had a superhero theme and as you can see Jake had a lot of fun dressing up as the Green Lantern.  His teacher Mrs. Foster did an outstanding job with the kids!
Grandma, Pa and AJ were having a little bit of fun before it began.  :)
If you look carefully you can see Jake has the microphone as he had a line all to himself.  Jake has come such a long way since he was a 3 year old Martian speaking little boy.  :)  He stood up tall and spoke in a loud clear voice.  His Kindergarten teacher (who is also now a dear friend) came up to me afterwards and told me that she teared up as she was so proud of how well he did.  Yep...super proud momma!!!
Afterwards we needed to do some shopping and as you can see AJ was a huge help.
Pa and AJ playing some Angry Bird.  The boys favorite game to play with their Pa :)
Walking back from the park with Grandma
The day before Easter we wanted to take the boys to a big Easter Egg Hunt...and what better place to go than the OKC Dodgers Ballpark where they hosted a HUGE one!
Jake walking out to the warning track to get ready
And they are all off to grab eggs!!!
Boys hanging out in the Dodger's clubhouse
AJ had to check everything out

After we enjoyed the park it was off into Bricktown to get some lunch
And what better place to go than Earls!!!
Then it was off to Bass Pro for some Easter Egg marker fun!
Pa and Jake testing out a toy
I think Grandma and AJ think they found a better one :)
Easter morning Jake was up first and he had to check out the baskets the Easter Bunny left...even though he was wonderfully patient and did not dig in till AJ woke up.
Sleepy AJ just walking out of his room with his buddies
Now they can dig in!!!
Grandma helping AJ open a new toy
Getting some fun Star Wars toy play time with Pa Gary
Such sweet looking boys all dressed up for Easter
A much more honest picture of my cheeseballs :)
Our own Easter Egg hunt!
The boys did great and found every egg...at least I have not found any around the house since ;)
Then we HAD to dye Easter Eggs
Very proud of their brightly colored eggs!
All done...with a ton of Star Wars stickers on them!!!  What a great Easter!!!
