AJ's 3rd Birthday

By the time Friday rolled around in this particular week AJ was beyond excited, after all...it was his Birthday.  When Jake turned 5 in March AJ seemed to really take notes on what a birthday was and so he was super excited for his to come.  :)  So on this day, he was a happy boy...even though he could hardly wait till the next day which was his party.  But we had a bit of a bonus.  Ryan surprised us and took the day off and Jake's allergies attacked him when he first got to school and so he ended up coming home and then getting to enjoy all of his brother's birthday activities.  :)  It was a great surprise and AJ was really happy to have his whole family there.  Just having Jake there during the morning and day to play with made him smile from ear to ear all day.  :D

 For lunch that day AJ chose to go to McDonald's to get a happy meal of course.  Both boys enjoyed this a lot!  AJ LOVES French fries!!!

 Then is was a trip to Sam's Club to pick up his Ninja Turtles Cookie Cake for his party the next day.  AJ likes cake but loves cookies...so this was a great choice.  And they were super sweet and also attached a little Birthday card from the bakery!

 AJ loving his Dinosaur/Car gift from his Grandma Peg and Pa Wayne.  He had just opened it as he skyped with them and as you can see he really liked it.  :D

 My boys adore cards...I mean really love them!!!

 His very own Cowboy Mickey.  There is a story here.  His best buddy had one of these and every time he went over there would quickly search through their buddies and toys to find his and then carry it around for most of the time he would be there.  So it became a mission to find one of his very own for his Birthday.  Of course it was a Disney World only buddy but thanks to Ebay we were able to accomplish the task.  :)  And AJ was super excited!!!

 He also got a new Gup to go with his Octopod set!

 But his big gift was the Paw Patrol lookout tower and he was super excited!!!  It was also great because we were able to work with some family to get him a few more of the characters to add to the set.  So he was really excited!

 Yes this continues to keep the boys happily playing for some time.  :D

 Then for dinner AJ wanted to go to BJ's for his birthday dinner, why you may ask....

 ...for this of course!  A birthday Pizzookie!!!  His was chocolate chocolate chip with a Ghirardelli square on top of course.  He was a happy boy and is blowing out his candle here.

One of those "wow he is getting big" pictures.  :)  AJ was so excited the restaurant had a stool to let him wash his hands all by himself.  :)

Remember how I said my boys love cards, yeah...AJ actually went to sleep holding one off his  :)  Goofy Squidly.  It was a great birthday and he went to sleep waiting with excitement for his Swimming Birthday Party the following day.
